Two months old today. Daddy took a picture of me with my pink teddy bear beside me. I think I'm finally taller than my teddy bear! Yea...

I've been sleeping all night long, over 8 straight hours, for the last couple of days. Not sure why I waited so long to stay asleep the entire night...after all...sleeping is one of my favorite activities. Hey wait a minute...does sleep qualify as an 'activity'???

Mommy woke up this morning with a fever of 103.6 degrees. Her breast infection is back again. Mommy was so sore she had a hard time holding me. Daddy stayed home from work to care for me and Mommy.

While Mommy was in bed trying to get well. Daddy and I went out alone for the first time without Mom. Daddy and I took the Honda to get Mommy's medicine from the Target pharmacy. I was so bored I slept almost the entire time...Daddy didn't seem to mind.

I'm wearing "RED" today, a gift from my Aunt Gayle. It's a bright red outfit with letters that spell red with an apple graphic. I can't wait to meet my Aunt Gayle, Uncle Matt, Michaella and Jakob.

I really miss my Grandma and Grandpa Kauser and I have so many other relatives in Ohio that I'm anxious to see. I especially want to travel to Ohio to meet my Great Grandma.

DSL modem came in today. It's about time! I have a need, a need, for speed.

I went to sleep at 12:30 last night and awoke at 6:00. Evidently this is a big deal to Mom and Dad. They seemed so happy this morning. If that is all it takes to make them happy...I might start sleeping in a few more hours.

I've finally figured out they can't read my mind, so I've been making some new sounds to try to communicate better with these people. I grunt, I coo, I shout, and all they do is smile back at me. They just don't get it, I'm not putting on a show here...I WANT MORE MILK! I'll keep trying, it appears I'm going to be stuck with these two for quite some time.

Scary event this evening. I'll add it to the journal later...

I now weigh 9 lbs. 5 oz.. Earlier today, Mommy had her 6 week follow up appointment with Doctor Hoffman. All is well except Mommy is still taking medicine for her breast infection. Mommy took me to see my Doctor, Dr. Viktorin. The antibiotics Mommy is taking is making my poop a little runny. I feel fine though ...I tried to tell Mom I was fine, she however, insisted on hearing this news from the Doctor.

Today is Mommy's first Mother's Day. I was on my best behavior today. I helped Daddy pick out a card. Hope Mom likes it.

These last few days, I've decided to smile for real, not just when passing gas. Although, I must say passing gas is just about my favorite thing to do. Think about it...there just aren't many other activities for a 41 day old baby to engage in...so passing gas it is!!! Dad thinks its cool.

Oh yea...back to the smiling for real. I am. I just couldn't hold out any longer. Bet you'd smile too if you saw the goofy faces Mommy and Daddy have been making.

...What a lovely Mother's Day post...

Big Weekend...Grandma and Grandpa Moore and Uncle Justin and Aunt Shannon drove up from San Antonio to visit me. Grandma Moore gave me a bottle Friday night. Although its hard for me to believe, I think she enjoyed it more than I did!

Aunt Shannon bought a present for me...my first Texas longhorn. It's a stuffed toy and pink!!! I was hoping for the real thing, Dad says I'm WAY too young. Shannon also gave Mom and Dad a web cam, oh no...if the pictures weren't enough...now this! So be on the lookout for the 'JAM CAM', starring yours truly.

While Mom stayed home to catch up on some sleep, Daddy took me out of the house without Mom for the first time. We went with Grandpa and Grandma, Uncle Justin, and Aunt Shannon to Founders Plaza at the DFW Airport to watch the airplanes take off and land. Apparently this is a big deal for Uncle Justin. (makes sense...him being a pilot and all) Uncle Justin took a bunch of pictures. It was an unusually cold day. Temp. in the 50s, and a strong north wind made it too cold to allow me out the car. Truth is, all of us stayed in the car while Uncle Justin took pictures. Bet you can guess...I went to sleep. I don't think I missed much.

We came back to house, picked up Mom, and went out to eat at Pei Wei. Since I'm still only drinking milk...I decided to sleep through the whole dinner. Funny thing...I don't think anybody minded.

Once we got back to the house it was picture time. If I thought my Dad was bad...oh my gosh...Uncle Justin and Aunt Shannon take the cake! I think they brought about 500 lbs. of camera equipment to take pictures of a 9 lb. baby!

I couldn't have asked for a better ending to this weekend. They each took turns holding me as I slept in their arms. Grandma remarked about the faces I made while dreaming. If only I could tell her not to worry...my bad dreams were only caused by knowing that soon they'd have to go back home.
