Three months old today! Daddy took my picture next to my GUND first teddy bear. Bet you can guess the color of the bear...yep, it's pink. A PINK bear? While only three months old, I'm pretty sure GOD didn't intend bears to be pink. Anyway, mom and dad have this thing about taking my picture every month next to this pink bear so everybody can see how much I've grown. I'm willing to wager with anyone out there that they'll miss a month before I hit twelve months old. I don't think 3 months old is too young to begin gambling...do you?

I think my eyeballs are sunburned!!! Today daddy got on a photo kick. That flash has been firing away since day one. With you, the world wide web as my witness, if I end up a blind woman...you know why. Now I understand why the cats keep walking into the walls in this house. Bet they're glad I've taken the 'literal' heat off them!

Father's Day today. Daddy's first! Mommy helped me pick out the perfect card. Mommy wrote a bunch of mushy stuff in it. Daddy really liked whatever it said. Someday I'll be able to read and write and I won't have to rely on someone else writing for me. Even this blog. Most of the time dad gets it right...and he understands what I'm trying to communicate.

Later in the day, we took Daddy out to eat at EL FENIX. Judging by the amount of chips and salsa he ate...I'd say he had a really great time.

On the day I was born daddy's team - the San Antonio Spurs, were the champions of the NBA. Today the Detroit Pistons became the new champions...soundly defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 5 games to 1. It was the biggest upset in NBA Finals history. Everyone thought the Lakers would win it easy. However, teamwork defeated the 'hot dogs', Shaq and Kobe (BTW...who names their kid after a cut of meat anyway???), and I'm glad to see it happen.

----note to regular readers of these posts...this is NOT what I dictated to daddy to write tonight. While I'm only two months old, I still can make him pay...in lost sleep tonight. I have that power.

I watched Ronald Reagan's funeral today with Daddy. President George W Bush declared today a National Day of mourning and Daddy got the day off to pay tribute to President Reagan. I'll always remember I was born the year Ronald Reagan died.

I took my first shower today. Mommy held me tight so the water wouldn't spray in my eyes. What a neat experience! I like showers. I can't wait until I take another shower with Mommy.

Threw up all over Daddy again. Projectile vomit this time. You'd been amazed at how far it flew. Linda Blair has nothing on me!!! Don't worry about me. I'm fine. Remember, this whole digestion thing is still relatively new to me.

Rough day. Mommy took me to my two month doctor visit. Up till this point, I thought the place was pretty cool. Not anymore! The nurse gave me four shots with a very sharp needle. Are these people crazy...poking me, a tiny baby, with a needle four times!!??? After the torture, the nurse put these silly Bugs Bunny band aids on the holes they put in both my legs. What kind of cruel sense of humor is that?? My first band aids...I could have done without this 'first' for sure.

They call them vaccinations. (I can't print what I called them) They are supposed to keep you from getting really bad diseases. I sure hope they work, they hurt bad enough for me to never experience a sick day for the rest of my life. I must admit I cried...so loud in fact, that I made Mommy cry for me. Sorry Mom. How about next time you spare us both ...and lets go shopping instead.

I weigh 10 lbs. 11 oz., and I'm 22 1/4 in. tall. Doctors says I'm about the 50 percentile for weight and height. My head size, approximately the 25 percentile. My Grandma Moore and my Daddy have small heads...guess I got this trait from them.

What a treat. Grandma and Grandpa Moore came to visit me this weekend. I love them so much, and they must think pretty highly of me too...they just want to hold me, and hold me all day long. I hope their arms don't fall off.

Mommy took me outside so I could watch Grandma, Grandpa, and Daddy set fence posts in our backyard. I think Daddy needs to start working out. He was so worn out. Grandpa's in better shape than Daddy. I think Daddy's office job is the culprit. Not to worry, once I start walking, I'll make sure Daddy gets his exercise...he's going to have to chase after me all day long.

I watched the big horse race today with Dad. We were rooting for Smarty Jones to win the race and claim the Triple Crown. It would have been neat to share the year I was born with a Triple Crown winner. He came in second. Daddy and I think he took the lead too soon and tired out in the home stretch.
