I'm 6 months old today! Mom and Dad haven't make any major mistakes yet, so I guess I'll keep them. Life is good.

First green beans...yuck. The bottle still RULES!

First taste of sweet potatoes...hmmm good. Hope I don't bore you with all these 'first' tastes, but for me these are wonderful and amazing experiences. It seems to me, grown-ups take the tastes of foods for granted. They always seem to eat so fast and make such a fuss when they splatter a little on their clothes.

Tried oatmeal cereal for the first time today. It's alright. I still like my bottle better. Mom brought out a 'sippy cup' today too. Not sure what to do with it. Again...I like my bottle better.

Happy 5th wedding anniversary Mommy and Daddy! I'm proof you were meant to be together. Mom took me to have my picture taken again! It's a known fact that new Moms are on every single junk mailing list in the world. My Mom uses every single coupon she gets for free or discounted photography! If that wasn't enough, when we got back from the profession photo shoot, she took even more pictures of me today while we were out on the patio enjoying the sun.

Aunt Jeanine, Uncle David, and my cousins, Tanner and Kendal decided to come visit this weekend! We met them at their hotel room, and then went to breakfast at Steak 'n Shake. I'm so happy they decided to come visit. I love them so much. They have friends, Brenda, Jeff, and Jordan that live here in Coppell too, so they visit and stay with them while they're here. Brenda invited us over to her house today and I got to meet them this weekend. Brenda, Jeff, and Jordan are so nice they made me feel right at home. I had a really good time and am so happy I had the opportunity to meet them.

I had my first solid food today for lunch! Mom mixed up some gruel for me. (actually it was rice cereal) I was pretty neat for a first timer and I must say...it's about time. I was getting a little tired of watching everybody else eat while all I ever got was a bottle. Mommy told me I gotta start slow at first. I hope I don't have to wait too long to try my first enchilada! They look GOOD!

...love my gruel!
