I’m fourteen months old today. The weather was beautiful this weekend. Mommy and Daddy took me to Kid Country yesterday. I really like this place. Mommy and me walk down to the park sometimes during the week when Daddy’s at work. I showed Daddy all the tricks I’ve learned to do. I play like the engineer of the train and ring the bell. I can even go down the big slides all by myself now.

Air conditioning went out WED, just in time for a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Moore this weekend. It also happens to be a record hot temperature for this day. It's super hot outside, but the house is even hotter. On top of that, Grandpa put a gate on the fence, and if that wasn't enough...Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy, and Daddy planted 192 pieces of St. Augustine sod! Grandma and Grandpa, I just want to say that Mommy, Daddy, and me, REALLY THANK YOU!

While they worked, I went swimming in my pink pool! Check me out!

Happy Mother's Day Mommy! Happy Birthday Aunt Jeanine!

I managed to say the word outside today. Not real clearly, but pretty close. I’m always trying to go outside. I’m just not tall enough to open the door yet. I love it out there. I don’t know why these grownups spend so much time indoors. God made the outside a lot better than any house a man can make. So lets go outside more. There are dangers out there though. I skinned my knee for the first time. I was walking with Daddy on the sidewalk and I fell down. I felt a burning sensation on my right knee, and looked down and saw a little red round patch where the skin had been scratched off. I’ve had a few minor bruises from learning how to walk and bumping into things, however, this was the first time I broke the skin. It wasn’t that bad, I just winced and cried a second or two, then got right back up and kept walking!
