I'm a big fan of the arts and crafts. Here I am creating an original Jillian Avery Moore finger painting masterpiece.

Artist at work.

Mommy stayed home with Eric while Daddy took me to ASI Gymnastics. This is my favorite thing to do there. Cool swing and a nice place to crash land.

I really like Play Doh!

How time flys! The first picture is me at 11 months, and the second is me at 25 months old! Notice the pictures on the monitors and the fact the t-shirt still fits! It reads, "Geek in training". Thanks again Aunt Shannon, from one blogger to another.

Grandpa and Grandma Kauser leave my house around 9AM this morning to start their long drive back to Ohio. I don't want them to leave. Mommy's friend, Stephanie, brings supper for us tonight so Mommy doesn't have to cook. She's still really busy with Eric.

Me and Grandma Kauser

Me and Grandma Kauser

Mommy's busy at home with Eric, so I went with Grandma, Grandpa, and Daddy to my favorite park. I immediately noticed the new mulch. Then I noticed that we were the only people playing in the park. It wasn't until we saw the front end loaders bringing in new mulch did it dawn on us that the park was closed for maintenance. Daddy said we needed to leave, but not before he let me check out the heavy equipment.

This picture reminded Daddy of a famous protest photograph.

Things were different from the very start of the day today. Mommy and Daddy were not home when I woke up this morning. Grandma and Grandpa Kauser got me out of my crib. They explained that Daddy took Mommy to the hospital for the birth of my baby brother. Then they took me to the library for story time and next to the park while we waited for Mommy to give birth. Ironically, just about the same time I fell asleep for my afternoon nap my baby brother was born into this world at 1:41 PM. As if my day wasn't strange enough already, I woke up to find Grandma and Grandpa Moore at the house. They explained they drove up from San Antonio and during the middle of my nap they relieved Grandma and Grandpa Kauser so they could go to the hospital and visit their daughter and new grandson. So twice now I've awakened to a new set of family members! Who's next? Grandparents Moore picked up a Happy Meal for me from MacDonalds drive through and then finally, we were off to the hospital. I finally met Eric at 4:45 PM. My brother looked like a fancy new baby doll to me. The neatest toy I'd ever seen. Daddy held him close to me and I was so happy, until he started to cry! I cried too. I didn't understand..was he hurting? I had a melt down the first two times he cried. Daddy explained that Eric needed to cry to tell us when he was hungry, or tied, or wet, and that's just how babies talk. It was weird to see both my grandparents together, this was a first for me. Daddy and both my grandpas took pictures of course. Very strange day.

I'm a big sister!

Daddy went to work today, and I went to the park with Grandma, Grandpa, and Mommy. Tomorrow is the big day. I'll become a big sister. I'm not aware of the consequences the events of tomorrow will bring, or understand that today is my last day as an only child, and will mark the last day that I'll be the center of the universe.
